A colleague of mine introduced me to Edmodo a couple of weeks ago. Edmodo is a secure social learning network. We've begun to use it as a class and I believe it is a lot more effective and user-friendly than Moodle. All homework is posted and updated on Edmodo. Students turn in their word study homework on Edmodo as well. It's a great place for students to ask questions. If I don't answer their questions right away, most likely other students will.
